Habitat appoints ex-Fat Face director as retail boss

The former retail director of fashion firm Fat Face is to assume the same role at furniture retailer Habitat.

Gary Waldron has joined the company, according to the Independent newspaper, and follows a similar fashion to furniture path as former New Look chairman Phil Wrigley, who joined the Hilco-owned retailer earlier in the summer.

Retail turnaround specialist Hilco said at the time of Wrigley's appointment that a new chief executive and retail director would soon be named.
