Revenue growth drives 46% profits uplift for London furniture retailer

North London furniture retailer Stanze Interiors grew before tax profits by half on the back of a 17% turnover increase in the year to end November.

It made £52,634 from sales of £0.802m, which compares with £36,060 from £0.685m 12 months prior.

Higher sales volumes drove the profits increase as the Palmers Green based business saw gross margin drop 230 basis points to 30.6%. Sales have grown in each of the past five years.
