Reid commits further cash to SPL club through sponsorship deal
16th July 2009 | marketing | Scottish retail chain Reid Furniture has extended its sponsorship deal with SPL side Hamilton Academical and has taken over from the Morris Furniture group as shirt sponsor for the 2009/10 season.
This time last year, the Steinhoff owned furniture retailer agreed a £250,000 package that included sponsorship of various parts of the team’s stadium as well as the club’s youth development programme.
The new agreement, described as a six figure sum and the largest in the football club’s history, will see the retailer’s name emblazoned across the team’s shirts as it embarks on its second successive season in the topflight of Scottish football.
