Northants department store to close; KBB offer unaffected

25th November 2009 | retail | Rushden department store retailer Peter Crisp is clearing £1m worth of stock ahead of its proposed closure. However, the firm's kitchens, bedroom and bathroom studio will remain open.

2009 marked the retailer's 50th year anniversary. It was founded by Peter Crisp, who died in 1996, back in 1959, and for the past 13 years has been run by Mr Crisp's wife Rosemary and daughter Julia.

It is a full category department store that also houses a customer coffee shop.
