Phoenix kitchen firm emerges with support of its Italian supplier despite massive debt

10th July 2009 | kitchens | The UK sales arm of a luxury Italian kitchen manufacturer says that new investment can help the firm succeed at the second time of asking.

Pedini UK, which held the exclusive distribution rights for Pedini kitchens in Britain, went into liquidation last month, but has since returned as Pedini UK Contracts – and will continue to retail and distribute designer kitchens from the Italian firm.

Kitchen trade magazine KBB Review says the failed firm had debts of almost £3m - more than 10% of which was owed to the Italian manufacturer. The new company, which has secured investment from a 44 year-old London businessman called Jonathan Teichman, will be run by Darren Miller, who was md of Pedini UK.
