Bed trade appoints first supplier president
28th April | beds | Anthony Joyce has been elected president of the National Bed Federation, taking over from Hypnos Beds’ Peter Keen.
Joyce (pictured), who runs component supplier Leggett & Platt’s European division, is the first non-bed manufacturer to lead the industry collective in its 97-year history.
Suppliers to the bed-manufacturing sector were only afforded full NBF membership status in 2006, under Peter Keen’s stewardship. The NBF has also appointed Simon Spinks of Harrison Spinks and Tean Dallaway of Airsprung Furniture Group to its board as vice president and treasurer respectively.
