Natuzzi cuts fourth quarter loss in half; Sales rise 3%
1st April | upholstery | Italian sofa manufacturer Natuzzi grew sales by almost 3% in the three months to 31st December but still posted a loss of nearly 20m euros. However, this was an improvement on the same period in 2007 when it reported losses of 39.6m euros.
The firm, which has its own franchised retail network in Italy and a mixture of own brand stores and dealers worldwide, was boosted by a 14.9% jump in US sales as it recorded a worldwide turnover of 182.1m euros in the fourth quarter.
