British flooring manufacturing group grows sales 27%

 

11th December 2009 | flooring | The parent of the Heckmondwike, Granwood and Paragon flooring brands grew sales by 27% to £37.97m in 2008. Group operating profits for National Floorcoverings Group also rose, but by a skinner 3% to £1.64m.

 

The company, 100% owned by the Pass family, is based in locations across Derbyshire and Yorkshire. Heckmondwike manufacturers fibre bonded carpets, Paragon carpet tiles while Granwood is a supplier of wood floors used in both commercial applications and educational institutions.

 

The group also includes a number of other divisions including flooring adhesive supplier Granfix.
