Online web portal for Britain's top furniture manufacturers

The furniture industry's livery company has launched a consumer web portal aiming to promote the country's elite furniture manufacturers.
The website (www.qualityukfurniture.com) profiles furniture manufacturers holding the Manufacturing Guild Mark (MGM), a recognition scheme run by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
It will be promoted through dedicated pr and marketing initiatives through assorted consumer media. There are also plans to partner up with an elite group of UK furniture retailers, thought to number about 50, to further promote the wares of MGM holders.
