Visitor turnout close to 2008 levels at Las Vegas Market
12th February | exhibitions | Las Vegas Market is on target to match its visitor attendance figures from last year’s show. The biannual event came to within 2% of last year’s first day total on Monday – the first day of the show.
However, the visitor profile appears to be markedly different, with show officials recording a total of 6,527 buyers attending the fair for the first time.
Bosses at World Market Center, which runs the event, said they were pleased with the attendance levels, which were higher than expected, after what they described as reports of dips in visitor numbers at other fairs worldwide.
