Kettle Interiors cuts minimum order levels by a third with launch of K1 wholesale service

3rd September 2009 | supply | Furniture distributor Kettle Interiors has cut its minimum order value to £1,000 by launching a new service called K1 across 300 product lines. It replaces Kw, which had a minimum order value of £1,500, and joins existing packages K4, K8 and K18.

Sales manager Simon Ainge said the firm was increasing its stock commitment which would result in 'drastically reduced lead times' for retailers.

The firm rebranded as Kettle Interiors from Kettle Containers at the turn of the year, at the same time changing its business model to allow retailers to mix and match rather than buying containers. It also introduced an express 1-2 week delivery time.
