Furniture design firm bought by Educational IT supplier
29th May 2009 | acquisition | Isis Concepts has been sold to school computer supplier RM for almost £3m. Isis is a furniture manufacturer specialising in high tech design in the education sector. It has a turnover of £3.6m and a pre-tax margin of more than 10%.
It makes furniture such as school chairs designed to support correct posture in young children, and is run by Nick Topliss, who has a background in motorsport engineering. The Isis team will transfer to RM’s premises in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
