Bed manufacturer moves to new Princes Risborough factory
6th November 2009 | beds | Buckinghamshire bed manufacturer Hypnos has ended its two-year search for a new plant by acquiring a modern factory in Princes Risborough.
Marketing director Chris Ward says the firm had outgrown its old facility, which was located yards from the town's train station, prompting a move a mile north to its new site on Longwick Road.
The company, which has incorporated a purpose built showroom and Training Academy into the building, also cited the importance of remaining local to the area so staff were able to move with the company as a reason for the lengthy search process.
Hypnos grew sales from £19m in 2003 to £27.2m in 2007 (its latest filed accounts).
