Steinhoff to launch 27-store Homestyle chain

12th June 2009 | soft furnishings | Furniture conglomerate Steinhoff has taken steps to fill the space vacated by the failures of Rosebys and Land of Leather by launching a soft furnishings chain under the Homestyle name.

Steinhoff’s UK operation, which includes Bensons for Beds and Harveys, shared a number of retail units with both of the failed chains, and 20 of the 27 new stores will co-locate on Bensons sites.

The first Homestyle store opens in Bedford today and the remainder between now and Christmas.
