Bed manufacturing group increases stake in Asian supplier

 

26th June 2009 | stock | Bed giant Hilding Anders is to take 100% ownership in manufacturer Slumberland Asia-Pacific early in the New Year after last week upping its stake in the firm to 90%.

 

The Swedish group, which owns the Slumberland, Myers and Dunlopillo brands in the UK as part of a portfolio of some 30 European and Asian subsidiaries, had previously owned two thirds of Slumberland Asia Pacific.

 

It will buy the remaining 10% from Hong Kong listed IDS Group in the first quarter of 2010.
