14th May | exhibitions | US trade fair High Point saw an 8% fall in visitor numbers at its Spring Market, which took place in North Carolina last month.

Brian Casey, president and ceo of the High Point Market Authority, said he believed this was a significantly stronger performance than other comparable furniture shows across the world, which had seen visitor numbers drop by up to 30%.

The show attracted 75,537 visitors, of which 44,237 were buyers. 7,807 of these were attending the event for the first time.
