Major independent readies £2m stock clearance; Makeover for flagship store

30th April | independents | Glasswells is to host its largest ever stock clearance sale in advance of the refurbishment of its flagship Bury St Edmonds store. The retailer, recently voted the country’s best by AIS suppliers, will shift £2m worth of product during the sale.

The firm hopes to realign the look of the Bury St Edmonds store with that of its new 73,000sq ft Ipswich outlet, which opened in December after an investment of some £5m.

Aside from its Ipswich and Bury St Edmonds stores, Glasswells also has showrooms in other Eastern towns including Haverhill and Saffron Walden.
