South-West furniture independent plots expansion after rebranding stores

23rd July 2009 | independents | Barnstaple and Newport retailer Furniture Warehouse plans to open a further store following its rebrand to FW Home Stores.

FW Home Stores is owned by Mark Ward, who was the majority shareholder in the 94-store Sleepright chain that was sold to Carpetright late last year.

A new FW Home Store is planned for Stoke-on-Trent, while the change of name was triggered by a move towards more modern styled furniture.
