Industry charity rebrands; Launches new event

The Furnishing Trade Benevolent Association (FTBA) has rebranded to become the Furnishing Industry Trust (FIT).
The relaunch, announced on Sunday at Interiors in Birmingham, is accompanied by the launch of a new event for the industry charity, aiming to champion the role of women within the UK furnishings sector.
On 3rd June of this year, FIT will launch the Women in Furnishing (Wif) awards, which will be open to women working across all levels and sectors of the trade. Winners will be announced a special event at FIT's home at Furniture Makers Hall in London.
