Dwell sets out 33-store plan, secures £5m from private equity
31.08.2010
Furniture and homeware retailer Dwell has confirmed plans to open a further 33 stores across the UK and secured a £5m investment in the business from an independent private equity company.
Key Capital Partner's (KCP) investment follow a number of senior managerial appointments over the past year designed to support founder and md Aamir Ahmad's plan to treble the retailer's property portfolio.
It currently has 19 stores across the UK, and will open five more in 2011, with the balance over the following three years. Mr Ahmad said, "KCP will prove to be a key strategic partner as we look to boost brand awareness and expand the business."
