DFS £500m sale decision close

The sale of upholstery retail group DFS could take place within a fortnight.

 

A host of private equity groups including Permira, Cinven and Advent International have been linked with £500m bids for the retailer, which founder Lord Kirkham is considering selling.

 

Debenhams chairman John Lovering and its chief executive Rob Templeman, have both been reported as being part of separate private equity backed moves to take control of DFS.
