David Langford to head up Joynson Holland relaunch as Willis & Gambier prepares to go big in upholstery

4th September 2009 | upholstery | The boss of one of Britain's leading leather upholstery agencies is to head up Joynson Holland following its acquisition by Willis & Gambier earlier this year.

Peroda Furniture md David Langford will oversee the launch of 12 new chair models at the NEC in January, along with the designs acquired when W&G picked up the Joynson Holland name. Willis & Gambier's upholstery division is also expected to have sofas on show at the Birmingham based Interiors event.

A three strong dedicated sales agents team is being recruited for Joynson Holland, which will launch recliners in both fabric and leather retailing from an expected £599 to £2000. Ranges are already in development and are being road tested at shows in the Far East this month in advance of their launch next year.

Peroda will continue to operate independently, running exclusive ranges for both groups and independents.
