Dams International rescued by Venture Finance backed management buyout
8th October 2009 | mbo | Two of the former owners of office furniture manufacturer Dams International have bought the company out of administration. Melissa Moore and her brother Chris Scott have regained control of the Merseyside firm after securing a funding package through invoice and asset based lender Venture Finance.
The deal also includes an EFG top up - a new Government backed scheme that provides a guarantee on top up invoice finance and overdraft facilities. 72 jobs have been saved following the deal.
Restructuring firm KPMG were appointed administrators to the firm a week ago.
