Sales climb 17% for Cheshire bedlinen and furnishings manufacturer

 

15th December 2009 | manufacturing | White label soft furnishings and bedlinen manufacturer Comfy Quilts has delivered a near 20% sales uplift in the year to the end of June - its fifth successive year of revenue growth.

 

The North West firm, which makes quilts, pillows, mattress covers and bedlinen under license for the likes of Christy, Silentnight and assorted Jeff Banks' brands, made an operating profit of £0.32m from sales of £42m.

 

In the 12 months prior sales were £35.8m and operating profits £0.31m. On an operating level, its best recent return came in 2007, when it registered a £0.95m profit from a turnover of £35.7m.
