Furniture manufacturer Classic secures Olympics deal

Classic Furniture Group, a major hospitality and leisure furniture producer based in Shropshire, has won a contract to supply two hotels being kitted out ahead of the Olympic Games.

The deal, which is worth £400,000, will see Classic supply furniture to the 162-suite Staybridge and 188-room Holiday Inn hotels, both of which are sited near the Olympic Park in east London.

It is reportedly the largest contact in the company's 40-year trading history and will result in the company adding to its 160 existing employees.
