Carpetright like for likes up 2.3% in Q3

UK and Irish sales at flooring chain Carpetright rose by 7.7% in the firm's third quarter, the 13 weeks to 30th January.
The retailer opened a net four stores during the period, boosting overall sales growth. Same store sales across the UK and Ireland climbed by 2.3%.
Over the past 39 weeks, sales have now risen by 8.9%. Chairman and chief executive Lord Harris said the firm's performance would have been even stronger were it not for the adverse weather conditions in the early part of January. He also said the company's new revenue streams from housebuilding and insurance customers were doing well.
