Furniture importer acquires Oceans Apart distribution rights

11th June 2009 | supply | Wholesaler Blue Bone has bought the license to distribute the furniture ranges of fellow importer Oceans Apart.

The deal follows the retirement of Oceans Apart director Philip Aaronson, who will aid the transition by supporting Blue Bone at the Manchester Furniture Show next month, where the firm will show the ranges for the first time.

All range names and branding will remain the same. Blue Bone will also relocate to a new warehouse facility in Dukinfield, Cheshire later this Summer from its current English base in Manchester. The firm also operates out of a site in Belfast.
