Furniture component supplier goes into administration

3rd February | supply | Furniture component supplier BLP UK – which manufactures MDF profiles, mouldings and doors, is in administration. Corporate recovery outfit PricewaterhouseCoopers has been appointed and is running the firm with a view to selling it as a going concern.

The Doncaster firm employs 100 staff and operates from a 25,000sq ft factory. A PwC spokesman said it expected to retain the majority of the workforce while hopes for a quick sale remain high.
