Carpet manufacturer plans to open factory shop
12th February | flooring | Adam Carpets hopes to open a factory shop. The Kidderminster carpet manufacturer has applied for planning permission to Wyre Forest District Council to change the use of one of its buildings at its Greenhill Industrial Estate site.
Another carpet firm, Goodacre, is also looking to make changes to its premises. The firm, now a retailer after its manufacturing arm folded, wants to move from its factory shop in Kendal to a dedicated store on a nearby trading estate.
When Goodacre went into administration, its manufacturing brand name and designs were acquired by Woodward Grosvenor, part of the Brintons carpet manufacturing stable.
