Furniture distributor launches 'natural memory foam' mattress line

21st September 2009 | beds | Furniture supplier 4 Living has launched what it describes as the UK's first range of natural memory foam mattresses.

The line, introduced under the firm's Eco Luxury brand, is manufactured in Canada by Essentia, and uses patented technology to make memory foam from natural latex.

Essentia's natural memory foam mattresses have sold successfully in North America and do not contain chemicals, toxins or adhesives. They are encased in an unbleached organic cotton cover and have a 35% faster recovery time than other foams, according to 4 Living.

The mattresses are being offered with a 20 year guarantee.
